Why are there some employees not found under “Hires” although they’ve started?

Because we are connected to your HRIS, we have the status of your employee records at any given time.

Employee records will fall under one of the three statuses here.

Green Checkmark = employee is currently an active employee

Red X = employee is inactive or has been terminated

Gray ? = we do not have any record of this employee, usually this means this is a new-hire that is awaiting their record creation in your HRIS.

Leave Checkmark = employee is currently on Leave

If you see an employee record at the Gray ? please follow below

  1. Please check your HRIS to confirm if there is a record for this employee in your HRIS
  2. If there is but we didn’t detect in Eqo, this means there likely an email mismatch on the details in Eqo vs. the employee record in HRIS (ie. the candidate applied using one email address, but this was not carried over onto the personal email details on the HRIS employee record)
  1. To manually link a record in Eqo to an employee, follow the steps here

Once you’ve manually linked the records, the Gray Check should convert to a Green check, Red X or Leave depending on the employee’s status.
