To ensure you’re getting the most out of Eqo’s referral platform and maximizing the potential of your referral pipeline, follow this simple checklist on a bi-weekly basis.
✅ Review Your Bi-Weekly Referral Reports
You should receive referral reports twice a week.
These reports provide an overview of total referrals made to jobs you are assigned to as a recruiter.
Click “See Pipeline” in your report to access your personal pipeline view in Eqo and referral lead contact information
✅ Engage with New Referral Leads Promptly
When you receive alerts about new referral leads, log into Eqo and see their details on your "Leads" tab
If they haven’t applied yet, reach out within the same week while they’re still warm!
Their contact details will on the right hand referral drawer that will open when you click on the record.
✅ Proactive Outreach to Referral Leads
Use a combination of calls, emails, or texts to connect with your leads.
Assess if they are a strong fit for the role they were referred to.
If they aren’t a match for that role, consider other opportunities within your organization.
Remember to name drop the name of the employee who referred them. Helpful communication templates are linked below!
Mark candidates as “Contacted” in Eqo once you have reached out to them.
This helps you stay on top of your outreach efforts and prevents missed follow-ups.
Regularly update the status of your referral leads to track progress effectively.
By consistently reaching out to your referrals, you’ll ensure you’re leveraging the referral program to its full potential, improving your recruitment outcomes, and making the most of high-quality employee referrals!
